As a third-generation Wyoming native, I have lived and worked in the Rocky Mountain region all of my life. I received my Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Wyoming and have been in practice since 1988.
I began practicing as a public defender for the State of Wyoming, and in 1992, I moved to Denver to open a practice emphasizing criminal defense. I have since dedicated my career to representing defendants in state and federal courts throughout Colorado and Wyoming, handling matters at both the trial and appellate levels.
As an experienced attorney, I have represented numerous people in death penalty cases and am well equipped to handle serious matters such as drug crimes, white collar crimes, fraud crimes and computer crimes. I am admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth and Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Texas, the Colorado Supreme Court, the Wyoming Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Arizona.
